US Divorce Rate

The 2005:

The US Divorce rate has dropped by 2.9% in 2005 (compared with 2004).

The 2004:

The US Divorce rate between 2004-2005 is double the recorded amount!

The 2003:

The divorce rate fell on average by 5.6% in 2003 in US. It fell from 975,164 in 2002 to 920,060 in 2003 (a drop of 55,104).

UK Divorce Rate

The 2006:

The divorce statistics shows that the divorce rate fell in 2006 compared to 2005 in UK by 6.87% per thousand couple married. However the marriage rate itself fell by 4%, the lowest ever.

The 2005:

The divorce statistics shows that the divorce rate fell in 2005 compared to 2004 in UK by 7.7%. However, the marriage rate also fell by 10.4%, between 2004 and 2005.

The 2004:

The divorce rate fell by 0.1% in 2004 (England and Wales). It fell from 153,490 in 2003 to 153,399 in 2004 (a drop of just 91 divorces).
