Dear Divorced Dads: As a divorced father of two children, I am emotionally committed to help other noncustodial divorced fathers maintain a good relationship with their children in spite of the divorce they are experiencing. Children, fathers, ex-spouses, and society all benefit when the connection between dads and their children are maintained.

In addition to ten chapters devoted specifically to the concerns of divorced dads, there are two unique chapters: Chapter 10 "For the New Partner- By the New Partner" is addressed to the new woman in dad's life. Chapter 11 "Gay Dads" focuses on the less visible dad who has the same goal as other dads- to maintain a good relationship with his children.

Finally, the Appendices include a sample "Legal Specification of Visitation Rights" agreement that divorced dads should include in the divorce decree they sign which protects their access to their children and a state by state list of domestic attorneys, custody evaluators, and mediators for professional help. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.
