About the Author
Maureen Mullally studied law at King’s College, University of London. Afterwards, she was called to the Bar at Gray’s Inn in London and also to the Irish Bar at King’s Inns in Dublin. She has practised as a barrister specialising in family law for over 25 years and now works as a mediator in family disputes. Maureen writes a weekly column on family and legal matters in the Universe newspaper. She has been interviewed on family law matters on Woman’s Hour, The Jimmy Young Show and other radio programmes and has contributed feature articles to YOU Magazine, Good Housekeeping, The Times, the Daily Mail, the Family Law Journal and Woman’s Realm. She is a member of the Southwark Diocesan Child Protection Commission and a Board Member of the Catholic Children’s Society. Her previous publications include Law and the Family and Law and the Family in Ireland (Blackhall).
